How it works

Built for people who know the job—and professionals who can do it.

For referrers

Create a free referral account, submit a potential customer, and follow the referral from your dashboard.

When an eligible referred job is completed and paid by the customer, referral earnings are calculated from the job profit using the referral percentage locked to that referral.

Job profit

Referral and provider earnings are based on job profit, not the gross customer payment. Job profit is calculated after approved material costs are deducted from the final job total.

VIP referral levels

Standard referral levels are Bronze 10%, Silver 15%, Gold 20%, Platinum 25%, and Diamond 30% of job profit.

Standard progression is based on completed referred jobs. Promotions and special opportunities may also be announced through Refer A Job. During the initial launch, promotional bonus and VIP acceleration information does not automatically change account levels or payout calculations.

For businesses and independent contractors

Provider accounts go through review before receiving full access to provider opportunities.

Approved providers can browse sanitized opportunities on the Job Wall and request jobs that fit their services. Requesting a job does not guarantee assignment.

Customer identity, direct contact information, and exact job address remain private until Refer A Job assigns the job to a provider.

Provider memberships

Free providers have a 25% platform share of job profit.

Pro providers have a 10% platform share of job profit and receive higher administrative priority when Refer A Job reviews competing job requests.

Diamond providers have a 0% platform share of job profit. Diamond provider payouts are subject to a 2.8% cash-out fee when the provider is paid.

Provider membership economics are snapshotted when a job is assigned. A later membership or platform-rate change does not retroactively change the economics of an already assigned job.

Completing a provider job

After assignment, the provider receives the private customer and job information needed to perform the work.

The provider starts the job through their dashboard. Before requesting completion approval, the provider must submit an exact description of the completed work, at least three completed-work photos, reported material costs, applicable material receipts, and a certification that the information is accurate.

Refer A Job reviews the completion before approving the job for payment.

Provider payments

After completion is approved and the client payment has been received, the provider payout becomes available.

Provider earnings are calculated from job profit using the platform rate that was locked when the job was assigned.

Material reimbursement is not separately added to the provider payout. Approved material costs are used when calculating job profit.

Diamond's 2.8% cash-out fee is applied at provider payout. It is not a platform share charged against the job profit.

Referrer payments

When the applicable referral earnings are ready, the referrer can request a payout through their dashboard.

Refer A Job currently manages client payments and user payouts manually rather than through an automated payment processor.

Payout methods

Refer A Job is designed to support payout methods such as Cash App, Zelle, Chime, Venmo, and ACH. Available methods and payout instructions may vary during the initial launch.

Job assignment

Refer A Job controls job assignment. Provider membership priority is an administrative sorting signal only and does not automatically award a job.

Free requests have standard priority, Pro requests have higher priority, and Diamond requests have the highest membership priority when requests are reviewed.
